Below you’ll find the general information and the most important details for the 
13 km mountain run on the 14th June 2020

Start:  


10 a.m. on the bottom station of the cable way to the Balea Lac (Balea Cascada).

 

Finish:


Balea Lac (finish will be closed at 1 p.m.) 

 

Entry fee: 


30,00 € until 31.12.2019


35,00 € until 31.03.2020 


40,00 € until 14.06.2020


45,00 € on the 14.06.2020 locally 

 

Starting documents:


Collection on the 14th June 2020 from 08:00 until 09:30 a.m. directly at the start.

 

The entry fee includes:

Luggage transport to the finish, Finisher-Shirt, Medal, 

Catering during the run (the return to the starting point is possible with the cable car at your own expense).

 

Locations and Directions:

The start on the bottom station of the cable way to the Balea Lac (Balea Cascada) is about 50 km from Sibiu. Sibiu has an international airport. We recommend the international participants to take a rental car.

 

Overnight stays:

Björn Grass Laufreisen organizes a running camp for the 1st Transfagarasan Marathon from 

10th to 17th June 2019.

800 high meter on the Fagarasan mountain road (100% asphalt)

 

Refreshment stations:

There are 2 food stations on the 13 km mountain run + finish catering.

The exact elements will be announced later.

 

Rating:

Men /Women:

Overall ranking

18 to 29 years

30 to 39 years

40 to 49 years

50 to 59 years, etc.

Place 1-3 of each class will be honored (at least 3 starters in the respective class are required, otherwise the score will be in the next lower class).

Decisive is the age on the day of the event.
